* Provide psychiatric evaluations and consultations in the Emergency Department as part of the Psychiatric Emergency Service/Designated Screening Center. * Maintain necessary and appropriate documentation for all services provided in compliance with regulatory and hospital policies. * Provide on-call and/or clinic coverage as requested by the Department Chairperson. * Provide education to patients and their families related to medication and treatment options prescribed. * Provide consultative and advisory services to clinicians as requested. * Provide coverage for the in-patient psychiatrist as needed. * Participating in assigned committees' activities such as Performance Improvement and peer review as requested. * Participate actively in education of students and residents. * Participate in scholarly activity and research as needed or assigned. * Other related duties as assigned.
