This clinic has a talented team that focuses on the highest level of patient care. In this role, the candidate will work alongside other practitioners in creating quality prosthetic and orthotic devices. A systematic approach will be used to transition the candidate through various competencies with increasing levels of amputations and other responsibilities.What You'll Do Patient evaluationsDetailed notation in NymblHand casting/Scanning all amputation levels and for custom Prosthetic & Orthotic devicesModifications, Diagnostic fittings, delivery, and follow up visiting hospital for evaluation and delivery of post-op devicesProviding support at the hospital for the staff orthotists as neededPerforming Prosthetic/Orthotic marketing activities which may include visiting referral sources, hospitals, clinics, and speaking with physicians and providing in-servicesInteract with physicians and therapists about the patient's needs and formulation of treatment plansPatient and family educationOther duties as assignedWho You Are Certified Prosthetist Orthotist by the American Board for Certification in Prosthetics & Orthotics, or Board-EligibleMaster's Degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics from an accredited university3-5 years of experience preferred but not requiredWhy You'll Feel Good Working HereWe believe people do their best work when they feel good-personally and professionally.
