DescriptionThe direct patient care provider in this position must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Each of the responsibilities will be accomplished in a safe manner that will prevent injury to the employee or others while following Hood Memorial Hospital's compliance programs and all federal and state regulatory guidelines.RequirementsThe LRT must be a graduate of an AMA approved program in Respiratory Care.Must hold a current, active Louisiana License as a Certified (CRT) or Registered Therapist (RRT)BLS requiredACLS recommendedAbility to use a computer and document in EMR system.Good interpersonal/human relations skillsGood oral and written communication skillsGood time management/prioritization and attention to details.
