Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) - Meadville, PA Job Type: Full-Time (On-site) Position Overview: We are seeking a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) to join a compassionate, patient-centered healthcare organization committed to human kindness, teamwork, and collaborative care. This role focuses on evaluating, designing, fitting, and managing prosthetic and orthotic devices for patients with limb loss, musculoskeletal conditions, and physical disabilities. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including physical assessments and collaboration with physicians and healthcare professionalsDesign, fabricate, and fit custom prosthetic and orthotic devices per medical prescriptionsMonitor, adjust, and modify devices to ensure proper fit, comfort, and functionalityEducate patients and caregivers on device use, care, and maintenanceMaintain accurate and timely patient documentation, including evaluations and progress notesEnsure proper and ethical coding and billing practices in compliance with regulationsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and rehabilitation specialistsMaintain CEUs and certification with ABC/BOC in good standingStay current with advancements in prosthetics and orthotics technology and techniquesAssist fabrication staff and provide guidance to junior clinicians and techniciansEnsure compliance with HIPAA, safety standards, and ABC/BOC professional guidelinesSupport financial performance expectations as discussed with management Qualifications: Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) credentialed by ABC or BOCActive state licensure or ability to obtain licensurePreferred: 2-3 years of experience in prosthetic and orthotic patient careStrong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, gait analysis, and kinesiologySolid understanding of Medicare criteriaExperience with CAD/CAM and prosthetic/orthotic design software preferred Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics from a CAAHEP-accredited programCompletion of an NCOPE-accredited residency program Why Join Us: Mission-driven, patient-focused organizationCollaborative and supportive team environmentOpportunity to make a meaningful impact in patients' livesExposure to diverse clinical settings If interested, please send your resume to: navya.masti@ Contact: 972-632-4503
