This position reports to the Health & Safety Manager.Roles & Responsibilities:Conduct incident investigations and audits to identify and eliminate or minimize the chances of preventable work-related illnesses and injuriesEnsure ergonomic processes are implemented in an appropriate mannerFunction as an expert resource for consistent implementation of company health and safety standards and programsRespond to and report emergency situationsAssist with compliance of annual safety trainingsPerform Risk AssessmentsDevelop and implement projects to reduce injuries and illnessesTrack and record data for safety-related activities including injuries, near-miss incidents, etc.Enforce all company policies and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulationsCommunicate safety issues and concerns to departmental leadership in a timely mannerPerform other position related duties as assignedQualifications:Basic:High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum Age: 18 years oldMinimum 5 years' experience in similar positionProficient in Microsoft Office ApplicationsExhibit excellent interpersonal abilities, effectively engaging with individuals at various organizational levelsPrevious knowledge and experience working with OSHA, federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to workplace health and safetyMust be authorized to work in the United StatesWhile travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)Duties may be modified at any time to meet business needsAbility to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required.Preferred:Bachelor's Degree in Safety Management or related fieldMinimum 5 years' experience in similar positionCertified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or related DesignationBilingual (English and Korean)Working Conditions:Ability to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation.Ability to operate basic office equipment.Ability to work in front of a computer for extended periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation.Ability to wear appropriate PPE as deemed essential for the job function
