This position offers a contract opportunity for an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with proficiency in a broad range of interventional cardiology procedures. Ideal candidates will bring advanced skillsets in cardiac catheterization and related technologies to support the care team in a high-volume progressive cardiac lab. Key Responsibilities: Independently perform complex cardiac catheterization lab procedures including embolization, coiling, ablations, and device implants such as ports, pacemakers, and ICDs. Operate advanced assistive devices including Impella, IABP, IVUS, Shockwave, Rotoblator, laser, and thrombectomy systems. Manage STEMI patient care focusing on fast door-to-balloon times. Conduct peripheral and electrophysiology procedures with precision. Collaborate closely with a Code STEMI team to ensure best-in-class system times. Maintain thorough and accurate documentation using EPIC EMR with Cupid. Participate in scheduled call rotations and weekend coverage, responding promptly to emergent needs. Qualifications / Desired Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Cath Lab Technologist; no entry-level or first-time travelers. Certification requirements include ACLS, BLS, ARRT(R), and a current LSRTBE state license (temporary license may be obtained within 14 days). Skilled in handling a broad spectrum of cardiac and peripheral interventions. Ability to work well independently and as part of a dedicated team, exhibiting a patient-centered approach. Schedule: Day shift, 5 days per week, 8-10 hour shifts (typically 06:45-15:15). Weekend coverage every other weekend. Call rotation requiring availability up to three times weekly with a 30-minute response time.
