Located in Houston, Texas, this opportunity is ideal for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) seeking a contract position within a school setting. The role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time schedules and a preference for on-site work. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Collaborate effectively with caregivers, families, physical therapists, speech-language pathology assistants (SLPAs), and occupational therapy professionals. Monitor and report on student progress to ensure treatment goals are met. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation in compliance with professional standards. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders. Active Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure. ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred. Experience in a school setting is highly valued. Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices. Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and related processes.
