DescriptionResponsible for the overall clinical management of the practice and program assigned to the practice as above, including direct supervision of all providers (Medical, and monitoring the practice and on-site programs for meeting the organizations productivity goals, quality performance measures, regulatory compliance, and research initiatives.Responsible for maintaining a clinical practice at the assigned site. Allocation of administrative and clinical time is dependent upon the size and range of programs at the siteRequirementsDirect supervision of all providers who are assigned to this practice as their primary sitePerforms Bi-annual evaluation of Specialist providers or other providers as assigned by Medical Director who are assigned to this practice as their primary site, and their annual competency evaluationsParticipates in monthly leadership management meetingsMonitors monthly, as assigned by medical director: Provider Productivity, Provider Quality Performance (Peer Review and Clinical Registries), Provider Evaluation at practice sites, Regulatory Compliance of the practice sites (Joint Commission, NCQA)Assists in the supervision of clinical performance or impact of any research programs operating at these sites when appropriateCollaborates with Nursing, Social Work and Administrative managers of the practice in the hiring and evaluation of practice staff, (and in reviewing of all patient complaints, incidents, assists in the EOC rounds of the practice)Communicates with their supervising regional medical directors regarding needs or requests of providers or practice staffAttends the Clinical Director's Group (CDG) meetingsProvides compassionate, appropriate and effective patient careAvailable to patients and staffUses scientific evidence and methods to investigate, evaluate and improve patient careDemonstrates acceptable use of organization's best practice alerts, quality improvement initiatives, core measures compliance, and use of EBMQUALIFICATION:Demonstrates effective supervisory skills of cliniciansDemonstrates superior clinical skillsDemonstrates effective interpersonal, communication, organizational, and conflict management skillsDemonstrates basic computer skillsDemonstrates ability to organize care/ activities of multiple tasks simultaneously.Previous clinical supervisory experience preferred.NY State Medical LicenseBoard Admissible to respective specialty boardCurrent BCLSCurrent DEA CertificateEqual Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action:The Institute for Family Health is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
