An opportunity is available for an experienced MRI Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services in a well-equipped medical environment. This contract position involves working primarily Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a call and holiday rotation to ensure patient care continuity. Key Responsibilities: Perform MRI scans with expertise in general imaging as well as breast MRI and MRI-guided biopsy procedures. Safely operate GE 450W MRI equipment while adhering to stringent MRI safety protocols. Manage patients with implanted cardiac rhythm management devices, including device look-up and scanning. Collaborate closely with clinical teams using the Epic electronic medical record system to document and communicate diagnostic findings. Participate in call rotations to provide imaging services outside regular hours as needed. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active ARRT (RT M ) or ARMRIT certification required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification. Minimum of two years' experience in MRI with demonstrated proficiency in breast MRI and device scanning. Familiarity with MRI Safety Officer (MRSO) responsibilities is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Location: Position is based in West Lafayette, Indiana, at a facility staffed with a team of dedicated professionals supporting approximately 250 beds. The site is outfitted with advanced imaging technology and offers a comfortable work environment. Free parking is provided at all entrances, with easy access through the North Entrance where you can check in at Guest Services for Radiology directions. Additional Details: Charcoal grey scrubs are the designated attire. Minimal float requirements. No facility-issued equipment necessary. Pre-employment education modules may be required.
