MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain LLC (MNAe) is a Tier 1 supplier of Battery System Assembly (BSA) and Power Electric (PE) systems, which are vital parts to produce Hyundai/Kia electric vehicles, based on state-of-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly.Our Environmental Health and Safety Department is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team in Ellabell, Georgia on 2nd Shift. In this role, you will assist with the implementation and support of EHS programs across the facility. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to help maintain compliance, promote a strong safety culture, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Job descriptionAssist with the implementation and monitoring of EHS programs, policies, and proceduresConduct routine safety inspections, audits, and basic risk assessments under the guidance of senior EHS staffSupport incident reporting, documentation, and follow‑up activitiesHelp coordinate EHS training sessions, including onboarding and annual compliance trainingMaintain accurate EHS records, logs, and regulatory documentationPartner with production and maintenance teams to reinforce safe work practices and hazard awarenessAssist with environmental compliance tasks such as waste handling, recycling programs, and sustainability initiativesRequired Qualifications1–2 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety, manufacturing, industrial operations, or a related internship/co‑opBasic understanding of OSHA regulations and general safety practicesStrong attention to detail with the ability to follow established proceduresGood communication and teamwork skillsAbility to learn quickly and adapt in a fast‑paced environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in automotive or high‑volume manufacturing environmentsOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificationFamiliarity with ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 standardsExperience supporting safety committees, emergency response, or training activitiesMinimum Education/Certifications: High school diploma or GED requiredShift: 2nd shift
