Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist -Peoria Spine $5,000 Sign-On & Retention BonusPeoria Spine is seeking a skilled and motivated Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist to join our team full-time. If you're experienced in advanced imaging procedures and passionate about providing exceptional patient care, this role offers the opportunity to grow within a supportive, specialized clinical environment.What You'll DoReview physician orders and determine required imaging proceduresAssist physicians and fellow Rad Techs with complex special proceduresPosition patients to achieve high-quality, clinically useful imagesExplain procedures, answer patient questions, and ensure patient comfortDocument patient medical history, procedures performed, and maintain accurate recordsPrepare and set up procedure rooms, ensuring all sterile and non-sterile supplies are available and functioningOperate and adjust imaging equipment, setting appropriate exposure factorsPerform quality control tasks, monitor equipment performance, and report issues to managementCoordinate workflow and support other Rad Techs when multi-person procedures are requiredAssist with general administrative tasks such as answering phones and schedulingEducationAssociate's degree in radiologic technologyARRT Certification (Required)Experience2-4 years of special procedures experience in a hospital or clinical environmentKnowledge RequirementsRoutine fluoroscopy and imaging of the head, spine, and extremities under physician supervisionExamination protocols, sterile technique, and special procedure workflowsHIPAA, OSHA, and radiology safety regulationsDepartmental safety and infection control proceduresSkills NeededStrong technical skill producing high-quality radiology examsProficiency entering and retrieving patient information from EMR systemsAbility to maintain positive, professional interactions with patients, families, and staffExperience with imaging equipment, fluoroscopy, and film/digital processingExcellent communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilitiesWhy Join Peoria Spine?$5,000 Sign-On & Retention BonusFull-time stability with a supportive, experienced clinical teamOpportunity to work in a specialized spine and musculoskeletal environmentHigh-impact role providing advanced imaging for procedural care Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
