A contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist for the 2025/2026 school year in Reading, PA. This role supports a 5th-6th grade building by providing essential psychological services and contributing to the academic and social well-being of students. This position requires availability to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility offered as long as a minimum of 30 hours is met. Work is primarily on-site with the option to work from home one day per week. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students Collaborate with staff to support the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies Engage with families, teachers, and administrators to promote student success Desired Qualifications: Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure Experience working in school settings, preferably with upper elementary grades Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and organizational skills Location: Reading, PA (primarily on-site with 1 day remote work per week) This contract position offers a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in students' academic and emotional development within a supportive school environment.
