An exciting opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to work within a Tribal clinic setting in Washington State. This role involves working inside a health center pharmacy, providing a unique chance to collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care. The position starts immediately and is a 13-week contract with the potential to transition to a permanent role. Monday through Friday daytime schedule allows for a balanced workweek and consistent hours. Key Responsibilities: Verify, fill, and check prescriptions accurately. Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions. Collaborate with physicians and nurses to support comprehensive patient care. Learn and utilize the on-site pharmacy IT system (MD scripts) through provided training. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Valid pharmacist license from any state is acceptable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with patients and the healthcare team. Previous experience working in a Tribal clinic or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Ability to quickly adapt to a new pharmacy system and workflows.
