Endocrinology Physician Assistant Bronx, New York Position Overview A large, well-established multispecialty group in the Bronx is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant with endocrinology experience to join its growing endocrinology team. This is a permanent, primarily outpatient role with a predictable weekday schedule and opportunities to collaborate closely with endocrinologists and other specialty APPs. Clinical Responsibilities Diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of endocrine disorders, including: Diabetes mellitus (Type 1, Type 2, gestational) Thyroid disease Adrenal and pituitary disorders Osteoporosis Metabolic syndromes Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations focused on endocrine conditions Initiate and adjust medications, including insulin and hormone therapies, under collaborative protocols Interpret laboratory results, imaging, and diagnostic studies related to endocrine disease Provide detailed patient education on disease management, medications, lifestyle modification, and self-care Manage and support diabetes technologies such as CGMs and insulin pumps Monitor patient progress, review abnormal labs, manage refills, and handle follow-up concerns Collaborate with endocrinologists and care team members to ensure continuity and quality of care Document clinical encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR Participate in care coordination, quality initiatives, and population health efforts Occasional involvement in inpatient endocrinology consultations, as needed Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. No nights or weekends mentioned Requirements Board-certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant Post-training endocrinology experience required Strong clinical skills in diabetes management Experience with CGMs and insulin pumps strongly preferred Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus, not required Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary: $135,000-$150,000 annually Comprehensive benefits package H-1B visa sponsorship available, if needed Organization Highlights Large multispecialty group with locations throughout the five boroughs Over 140 physicians and 100+ APPs Multiple practice locations throughout the Bronx Easily accessible via public transportation Lifestyle Practice in the Bronx with access to all that New York City has to offer Urban setting with abundant cultural, dining, and transportation options
