We are seeking a board certified or board eligible Orthopedic Physician Assistant to join a large multispecialty group in the Bronx. This is a full-time, outpatient-only opportunity with no hospital responsibilities. Bilingual Spanish is preferred, but not required. H1B visa sponsorship is available. J1 Waiver and CONRAD 30 candidates welcome. Position Highlights Outpatient-only orthopedic practice No hospital coverage Full-time opportunity Call schedule TBD Hours vary based on location and patient demand Telehealth and in-person patient care Collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment Important: Candidates must have post-training orthopedic experience to be considered. (New graduates without orthopedic experience will not be eligible.) Responsibilities Assess and diagnose fractures using clinical evaluation and imaging studies Perform non-surgical fracture reductions Apply casts, splints, and orthopedic bracing Perform joint aspirations for diagnostic purposes Administer ultrasound-guided intra-articular injections Monitor healing progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Review and interpret X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and other imaging studies Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and radiologists on patient care Coordinate rehabilitation plans with physical and occupational therapists Provide care via telehealth and in-clinic visits while meeting productivity expectations Document all encounters accurately in the EMR Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program NCCPA certification Active New York State license (or ability to obtain) Minimum of 6 months outpatient orthopedic experience Minimum of 6 months experience with bracing, casting, splinting, and joint injections Strong musculoskeletal assessment skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Organization Information Salary range: $130,000-$145,000 annually Comprehensive benefits package Large multispecialty group with offices throughout the five boroughs Over 140 physicians and 100 advanced practice providers currently employed Diverse, collaborative team focused on delivering high-quality outpatient care Lifestyle Information Multiple locations available throughout the Bronx Access to all that New York City has to offer Abundant public transportation options RecruitWell Core Values Open communication Sense of urgency Teamwork Accountability Driven to win Higher consciousness
