General Summary: Under the supervision of the Head Start Preschool Manager, the Center Supervisor is responsible for the overall operation of the center and ensuring employees complete all required certifications as required by their position. Communicate organizational needs, provide guidance and support, identify development needs, and manage the reciprocal relationship between staff and the organization so that each is successful. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Oversees the daily workflow of the center; approves leave requests and timesheets. 1. Responsible for implementing the enrollment process of all children, monitoring attendance, maintaining full enrollment, and replacing children within 30 days of vacancies. 17. Responsible for one ( 1) classroom child' s files for the centers having three ( 3) classrooms. 18. Provide transportation to families when establishing a medical and dental home. Provide transportation for children and families to medical and dental appointments as needed. 19. Observe each classroom weekly and submit observations to the Education/ Disability/ Mental Health Specialist. 20. Assures teacher' s lesson plans are submitted two ( 2) weeks before the lesson to be reviewed and approved. 21. Assures and adheres that the center is complying with the Child Adult Care Food Program ( CACFP), State, Tribal, Indian Health Service ( IHS), Head Start Performance Standards, Head Start Act of 2007, Head Start Preschool Policy and Procedures, and Muscogee ( Creek) Nation Policy and Procedures. 22. Ensure monthly newsletters for families are sent to all parents/ guardians. 23. Responsible for scheduling Monthly Parent Committee meetings and ensuring all required parent training is met. 24. Assures center staff attend professional development training through Head Start In- service training, Pre- Service, Workshops, Conferences, and Webinars. 25. Responsible for completing and reviewing monthly reports for accuracy and assuring all reports are on time and submitted to each content specialist. 26. Coordinate the ordering of supplies, materials, and equipment for the center. 27. Maintains an up- to-date record- keeping system. Ensures confidentiality of all records and information. Provide data reports and a summary of reports as needed. 28. Attends all supervisor meetings. 29. Conduct a minimum of one monthly staff ineeting or more as needed. 30. Ensures that the multicultural principles are reflected in the Head Start Preschool program practices. 31. Ensure children' s files and behavioral observations for each child are entered into Child Plus and kept current. 32. Must be willing to stay after hours, as necessary, to complete an important task or meeting. 33.
