Job Title: Licensed Mental Health ProfessionalLocation: Norwich, NY 13815 Shifts: Mon - Fri (Days) - Onsite Setting: Outpatient - Community-based / Nonprofit organization Sign on bonus: $5,000 Sign-on Pay: $70000 to $75000 as base Position Summary: The Youth Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to serve children between the ages of 10-21 years old with mental health needs. This youth focused and family driven approach empowers children/youth to thrive at home, in school, and within their communities.The Licensed Mental Health Professional will provide treatments to the child and their family/caregivers to address the clinical needs of the child and the complex needs of the family unit. The mental health professionals will individualize treatment interventions to the child/family and use evidence-based practices to address identified clinical and family system needs to help improve the well-being of the youth and strengthen family dynamics. Responsibilities: You will lead services for clients and families, including: Child and Family-Centered Assessments and Service PlansNon-traditional individual and family therapy in the home/communitySkill DevelopmentStabilization Support for Youth and FamiliesCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Qualification/Experience: Master's degree in Social Work or a related mental health fieldActive NYS license: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT, or equivalentStrong understanding of evidence-based practices, trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and person-centered language.2-3 years of experience in requiredDriver's License and ability to maintain insurability throughout employment required.
