A retail pharmacist opportunity is available in Nantucket, MA, supporting an outpatient pharmacy attached to a hospital. This contract assignment is approximately 13 weeks, with an ASAP start date. The schedule consists of five 8-hour day shifts per week. The ideal candidate will hold an active Massachusetts pharmacist license and have retail pharmacy experience. Full-time availability and a positive, professional attitude are essential. Experience with McKesson EnterpriseRx pharmacy software is highly preferred to ensure a smooth transition into the role. Responsibilities include: Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently in a retail outpatient setting Managing prescription orders using McKesson EnterpriseRx software Providing excellent patient care and education Collaborating with healthcare professionals linked to the hospital system Covering a vacancy and maintaining pharmacy operations during the assignment This unique opportunity requires traveling to Nantucket via ferry. Due to limited housing availability on the island, housing is provided by the hospital in shared accommodations with other travelers.
