About the Practice: A well-established and efficient private practice in the Big Spring, Texas area is seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join their team on a full-time basis at their outpatient surgery center. The practice is committed to providing high-quality anesthesia services for a diverse range of surgical specialties in a supportive and predictable environment. Opportunity: This is an excellent full-time opportunity for a CRNA to practice a broad spectrum of outpatient surgical cases. The case mix includes orthopedics, GI, GYN, urology, plastic surgery, and spine pain procedures. The position offers a highly desirable schedule with no call, nights, or weekends , ensuring an outstanding work-life balance. Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs) are welcome to apply and gain valuable experience in a thriving outpatient setting. Responsibilities: Provide and manage anesthesia for a variety of outpatient surgical procedures as listed above. Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic patient assessments and develop individualized anesthetic plans. Administer and monitor anesthesia safely and effectively. Manage patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU). Maintain accurate and complete patient records. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all practice protocols. Collaborate effectively with surgeons and other surgical team members. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia. Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Valid and unrestricted Texas RN license (or eligible for licensure). Strong clinical skills in providing anesthesia for outpatient surgical cases across various specialties. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs) in good standing are encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits: The practice is offering a highly competitive salary range of $300,000 to $320,000 annually on a 1099 basis , commensurate with experience. A competitive sign-on bonus is also provided. As a 1099 contractor, benefits such as medical insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans are not directly provided by the practice and would be the responsibility of the CRNA.
