Assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities. Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures; maintain patient records; and select, assemble, check, and operate equipment. * Practices standard precautions and enforces safety regulations according to hospital policies. * Interprets evaluations and test results to determine appropriate treatment plans in consultation with interdisciplinary healthcare team. * Responds to all Code Blue emergencies immediately providing CPR according to the American Heart Association and performs other duties as directed. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Patient care skills to care for neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations per hospital needs. Education: * Associate [Required] Field of Study: * In Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science Work Experience: * 1+ critical care experience [Preferred] Licenses and Certifications: * FL License Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) [Required] * Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] * Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) [Required] * NRP within 90 days from employment [Required] * Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) [Required] Physical Requirements: (Please click the link below to view work requirements) Physical Requirements -Pay Range: $22.88 - $42.54 This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
