This position plays a vital role in coordinating and managing all aspects of patient care related to hematopoietic stem cell transplants. Job specificationCandidate requirementsJob specification Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and families throughout the transplant journey, providing education, support, and resources. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for patients. Monitor patient status post-transplant, coordinating follow-up care and addressing complications as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to hospital policies and regulatory standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to transplant services. Act as a resource for transplant education, including outreach and information sharing with patients and families. Candidate requirements Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required; master's degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in transplant or oncology care. Strong knowledge of hematopoietic transplant procedures, protocols, and patient management. Ability to provide compassionate care and support to patients and families during challenging times.
