An opportunity exists for a licensed pharmacist to provide per diem coverage at a specialty pharmacy focused on HIV/AIDS care. This role offers flexible scheduling, ideal for a part-time pharmacist seeking to supplement their current workload with additional shifts through the summer and into the holiday season. The position involves working primarily weekdays with no weekend shifts. Location: Shepherdsville, KY Schedule: Day shifts, Monday through Friday 1-2 shifts per week or 1-2 shifts per month, based on needs Key Responsibilities: Perform typical retail pharmacy duties including prescription filling, verification, and dispensing Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with pharmacy protocols Utilize Pioneer Rx software to manage prescription processing and documentation Provide specialized care for patients, with preference given to candidates experienced in HIV/AIDS medications Desired Qualifications: Valid Kentucky pharmacist license Previous experience in retail pharmacy settings Knowledge of and/or experience with HIV/AIDS medication is a strong advantage Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently Strong communication and supervisory skills This per diem role is perfect for a pharmacist looking for flexible, supplementary work without weekend commitments.
