Compounding Pharmacy Facility Maintenance Technician- Highland Village, TX.Full time/Days pay-up to 70k Annually DOE Key ResponsibilitiesSterile environment maintenance: Clean and sanitize compounding cleanrooms, laminarflow hoods (LAF), biological safety cabinets (BSC), and other controlled areas per asepticprocedures.Equipment calibration & repair: Calibrate and maintain compounding equipment(balances, mixers, crimpers, labelers) and related monitoring systems to ensure accuracyand compliance.Documentation: Maintain meticulous logs of cleaning, maintenance, calibration, and workorders for regulatory audits.Supply management: Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure compounding areas arestocked with necessary sterile supplies, gowns, and cleaning agents.Preventive maintenance: Perform scheduled inspections and routine tasks (filterchanges, lubrication, belt/part replacement) to prevent equipment failures.System repairs: Diagnose and repair minor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and buildingautomation issues; escalate major repairs to vendors or facilities management asneeded.Interior/exterior upkeep: Perform carpentry, drywall repair, painting, flooring, equipmentmoves, and office furniture relocation.Emergency response: Serve as primary contact for facility emergencies (e.g., burst pipes,power outages); participate in on-call rotation as required.Compliance & safety: Ensure building operations meet applicable health and safetystandards; maintain detailed work logs and follow PPE/aseptic protocols.Essential Skills & KnowledgeFamiliarity with aseptic technique and sterile processes.Knowledge of USP and USP guidelines.RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED.Experience working in a healthcare or pharmacy environment preferred.Experience with power tools.Valid driver's license.Experience operating pallet jacks or other material-handling equipment.Optional / PreferredCertification or training in HVAC, refrigeration, or instrumentation.Previous experience in cleanroom maintenance or sterile compounding support.
