A rapidly expanding 503a/b compounding pharmacy in Stafford, Texas, is seeking an experienced Overnight Compounding Pharmacist to support their growing operations. This pharmacy is known for compounding specialized medications, including GLP-1s and weight loss therapies, and is currently experiencing a significant increase in prescription volume-from around 6,000 to 22,000 scripts daily. This dynamic environment requires a skilled pharmacist ready to contribute to a high-volume, fast-paced setting during the third shift. Location: Stafford, TX Schedule: Overnight shift (9:00 PM - 5:00 AM), Monday through Friday Contract Type: 13-week temp to perm opportunity Responsibilities: Prepare customized medications according to prescriptions and stringent compounding standards Accurately document formulations, ingredient usage, and inventory levels Maintain effective communication with patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams Collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure timely, quality service Keep up-to-date with current pharmaceutical practices and compounding innovations Desired Qualifications: Active, clear Pharmacist license in Texas Minimum of 1 year experience in sterile compounding environments Proficiency or willingness to quickly learn LifeFile and PK pharmacy software systems Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, detail-oriented setting This position offers the chance to grow within an innovative pharmacy setting during a transition to permanent employment.
