Seeking a skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support school-based behavioral needs within the San Luis Obispo, CA area. This full-time contract position (37.5 hours/week) offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by partnering with educators and school teams to improve student outcomes through evidence-based behavioral strategies. Key Responsibilities: Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Provide ongoing consultation, coaching, and training to teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff Monitor student progress through data collection, analysis, and comprehensive documentation Collaborate with IEP teams and participate in meetings to ensure cohesive support for students Qualifications: Current, active BCBA certification required Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with multidisciplinary teams Location & Setting: School-based environment located in San Luis Obispo, CA Caseload size varies depending on district needs, allowing for flexibility and tailored focus on student support This role offers the chance to apply your behavioral expertise in an educational setting, fostering positive behavioral outcomes and supporting student growth.
