If you are interested, please read the job description below: Schedules: + Monday-Friday 1st sift + 4 days during the week and one 10 hour shift on the weekend Overview: The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for supporting and advancing the pharmacy's operational goals within a dispensing pharmacy environment. This role provides comprehensive, accurate drug screening, processing, and dispensing services for long-term care facilities. The Staff Pharmacist ensures medications are delivered efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements. Job Duties: + Execute day-to-day pharmacy operations to meet workflow production quotas and deadlines + Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations, including DEA requirements and third‑party payer contracts + Assist in ensuring adherence to PharmScript policies and regulatory agency policies and procedures, whichever is stricter + Supervise pharmacy production staff to ensure proper workflow, pharmacy security, and adherence to delivery schedules + Verify completeness and accuracy of all new and refill prescription orders, labels, and packaging + Prepare and/or supervise the preparation of sterile IV drug products or solutions + Assist with proper ordering, handling, receiving, documentation, and storage of controlled substances + Maintain a perpetual inventory for Schedule II medications + Provide evening, weekend, and on‑call coverage as required by management + Ensure daily workflow dashboards are cleared + Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA Requirements: + Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy + Current pharmacist license in good standing + Proficiency in clinical interpretation, including drug-drug, drug-disease, drug-food interactions, and allergy review + Will take recent graduates Pay/benefits: + $60-65/hour + Health, dental, vision + 401k If you are interested, please apply today!
