A full-time opportunity is available for a dedicated pharmacist to serve in both retail and inpatient pharmacy settings, with locations conveniently close to each other. This role involves a blend of retail pharmacy services (70%) and hospital inpatient pharmacy responsibilities (30%), providing a dynamic work environment. Location: Pigeon, MI (with nearby hospital inpatient pharmacy) Schedule: 4 days per week, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM One weekday off Rotating weekends Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and standards. Review medication orders for accuracy, allergies, and drug interactions. Prepare intravenous medications following standard formulas and protocols. Provide accurate information and answer medication-related questions from staff and patients. Maintain patient confidentiality and work both independently and collaboratively. Desired Qualifications: Graduation from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy. Current pharmacist license in the State of Michigan. Experience in hospital pharmacy preferred, or strong willingness to learn inpatient pharmacy practice. Familiarity with pharmacy software including Pioneer RX, CPSI, and upcoming transition to EPIC. Additional Details: Average prescription volume is approximately 250 per day and 1,300 per week, including scripts for adult foster care and local long-term care facilities.
