We are seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to drive our EHS program and ensure operational excellence at our Manassas, Virginia location.This role will have a significant impact on the safety culture and compliance standards across all service lines, including hydrovac/air excavation, vacuum truck/industrial cleaning, compliant material transportation, and refinery/industrial turnarounds.Key responsibilities include:Own and manage the EHS program across multiple service lines, ensuring regulatory and client compliance.Lead field safety audits and inspections, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement.Develop and maintain high-quality Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), Job Safety Analyses (JSA), tailgate meetings, and permit compliance (e.g., confined space, hot work).Partner with Operations on site walks and create site-specific safety plans.Lead incident and near-miss investigations, including reporting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.Oversee new-hire safety orientation and ongoing SOP/program training, tracking completions and refreshers.Manage the Safety Committee and behavior-based safety programs (Good Catch, Near-Miss).Maintain and inspect safety-critical equipment and records, including air monitoring, CSE gear, SCBA, fall protection, and calibrations.Lead housekeeping program and audits across yards, shops, and trucks.Maintain training records, SOPs, and regulatory programs aligned to OSHA 1910/1926 and service-specific requirements (DOT/EPA, client requirements).RequirementsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental/Industrial Hygiene, or a related field3-5 years of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) experience supporting field operations or industrial servicesExperience leading field safety audits and inspections, with a proven ability to drive corrective actions to closureExperience leading incident and near-miss investigations, including root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actionsWorking knowledge of JHA/JSA development and use in field operationsWorking knowledge of confined space entry, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and fall protection programsExperience with DOT/PHMSA and EPA/RCRA compliance requirements in an industrial services contextValid driver's license and TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications:Experience with refinery Process Safety Management (PSM) complianceExperience partnering with field teams, operations leaders, and executive leadership on EHS initiativesBenefits401(k)Health, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)
