Job Purpose: * The Director of Nursing (DON) at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for overseeing the nursing department to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to patients. This role involves strategic planning, management, and coordination of nursing services, aligning them with the center's mission and objectives. The DON will lead a team of nursing professionals, fostering a collaborative environment to enhance patient outcomes and support the center's commitment to excellence in behavioral health care. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. * Lead and manage the nursing staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and departments to ensure integrated patient care. * Monitor patient care quality and implement improvement initiatives as needed. * Manage the nursing department's budget, resources, and equipment to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. * Serve as a liaison between the nursing staff and executive management, providing updates and reports on departmental activities. * Address and resolve any issues related to patient care or staff performance promptly. * Stay informed about the latest developments in nursing practice and healthcare regulations to maintain the highest standards of care. * Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development among the nursing staff.
