Med TechType: Full-Time/Part-time all shifts needed Shift: Days, Swing and NOC shift available, Various schedule, Weekend availability neededWage: $19-$22/hr DOELocation: Arete at Grande Ronde - 1809 Gekeler Lane, La Grande, OR 97850Responsibilities:Care for residents and assist in updating each resident's service planAdminister medications ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the DHS and according to current policies, procedures, and practicesProvide care for residents and assist with updating service plans.Respond to resident calls and emergencies promptly and provide first aid assistanceAssist with daily living activities (i.e., bathing, dressing, and eating)Provide support with residents to caregivers as neededDocument and communicate resident changes and complete all reports in a timely mannerMaintain confidentiality of all resident care in accordance with HIPAA guidelines Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years oldHCA or CNA license preferred (required if you are applying in Washington)High-School diploma or equivalentMust have or obtain (within 30-days of employment) First Aid & CPR CertificationMinimum of one-year of experience in a healthcare settingCMA certification is preferredMust obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employmentKnowledge and experience caring for and interacting with elders Employee Perks: Premium Pay for Holidays worked, conditions apply.Excellent benefits package with medical coverage, voluntary dental, vision, and life insurance, short-term disability, and AD&D coverage, for full time employees.
