We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you'll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.Minimum Requirements: Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.Current Georgia state license in good standing with the State License Board.Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.Minimum one year experience as an RRT in an acute care hospital setting, including experience with mechanical ventilation management and invasive and non-invasive ventilatory support.Proficiency with ventilator setup, self-test, monitoring and troubleshooting on multiple ventilator platforms.Experience performing arterial blood gas collection and interpretation, oximetry and capnography monitoring.Competence with airway management procedures, including endotracheal tube insertion, tracheostomy care, suctioning (oropharyngeal, nasal, tracheal), and use of video laryngoscopy.Experience assisting with respiratory procedures such as bronchoscopy, chest tube management, and percutaneous trach support.Familiarity with cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing: 12-lead EKG, basic arrhythmia recognition, and pulmonary function testing (NIF, VC, etc.).BLS certification required.
