THE JOB: Join the iconic Bellagio Conservatory team as a Gardener, where your work helps create one of the most breathtaking experiences on the Las Vegas Strip. In this role, you'll play a key part in the day-to-day care and upkeep of our stunning displays, ensuring every detail is beautifully maintained and visually captivating for our guests. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest's experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us! THE STARTING RATE: $19.86 / Per Hour THE DAY-TO-DAY: * Maintain landscaping and plant health by planting, transplanting, fertilizing, watering, pruning, weeding, and applying chemicals; care for annuals, turf, trees, and shrubs while monitoring soil, fertilizer, moisture, and overall appearance * Ensure proper pest and irrigation management practices * Inspect work areas to identify safety hazards and ensure landscaping meets appearance standards * Operate power and motorized equipment such as blowers, hedge trimmers, tractors, lawn mowers, edgers, chainsaws, aerial lifts, forklifts, turf aerators, and roto-tillers * Use manual hand tools and equipment including rakes, loppers, hand saws, pruning shears, shovels, hoes, fertilizer spreaders, pesticide sprayers, sod knives, and hedge shears * Drive and operate company vehicles or carts to travel between properties, transport materials and equipment, and unload and inspect inventory THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: * Must be 18 years of age or older * One (1) year of prior relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience * Knowledgeable of exterior and interior plant materials, irrigation practices and pesticide applications * Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders * Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays THE PERKS & BENEFITS: * Health & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees) * Professional and personal development opportunities through employee programs and network groups * Free meals in our Bellagio employee dining room * Free parking on and off-shift at all MGM Resorts properties * Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally * Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts VIEW JOB DESCRIPTION: Are you ready to JOIN THE SHOW?
