Location: Manhattan, New York Schedule: Approximately 20 guaranteed hours per weekend (Friday afternoons + full days Saturday/Sunday) Compensation: $38-$43/hourA private, down-to-earth family in Manhattan is seeking a polished, dependable weekend professional to provide a blend of childcare and light household support. The role includes caring for a 17 month old boy. Responsibilities include attentive, developmentally appropriate care; supporting daily routines (meals, naps, play); planning engaging activities and outings; light household organization; occasional errands; meal prep and children-related tasks; and travel preparation with hands-on support as needed.The ideal candidate is a seasoned, proactive, and highly organized childcare professional who is comfortable balancing multiple responsibilities. A calm, intuitive presence, strong communication skills, and a long-term mindset are essential.Requirements: 10-15+ years of private home experience, strong verifiable references, flexibility for holidays and occasional travel, valid passport, and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
