Must deliver quality, patient focused care. This positions performs a variety of non-invasive exams such as general ultrasound, abdomen, and small parts. Minimal training in GYN, as well as vascular studies to include carotids, DVT's and arterials. X-Ray experience a plus.Qualifications:Ultrasound Tech must have a Montana state license, and registered or willing to obtain registry under ARDMS.Essential Skill Required:Knowledge of radiographic equipment operation and radiation safety is a plus.Knowledge of patient positioning technique.Open, accurate, and responsive communication, oral or written, on an individual basis or in groups.Ability to handle multiple tasks/ projects to meet deadlines.Demonstration of ethical and professional conduct.Essential Physical Requirements:Capability to be independently mobile.Ability to manage physically aggressive patients.Ability to transport patients on the patient mobilizer or in a wheelchair.Ability to life 50 pounds without assistance, reach, stoop, and bend while maintaining a good mechanical body position.Ability to perform tasks for a long period of time.Manual dexterity sufficient to operate equipment.Hearing and visual acuity sufficient to perform examinations, observe patients, read monitors and documents, hear equipment alarms.ability to work within a limited space and in bright and low-lighted examination rooms.Ability to travel locally and elsewhere (including overnight stays) to attend seminars, terrelationship Requirements:Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with patients and families, all radiology staff, referring providers, residents, all DMHC staff, and administration who may or may not be under physical and/or emotional stress.Frequent interaction with personnel in other departments and with vendors.Ability to maintain confidential information.Shift: Days, Full Time, Specialty Type: Diagnostic ImagingSub Specialties: Radiologic Technologist, Ultrasound Technologist General ab/ob small partsGeneral Certifications: N/A
