Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to our team to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.Minimum Requirements:Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification with MR registry (ARRT (MR)) required.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to direct patient care.Minimum 1 year of experience in an MRI department within a hospital setting required.Experience operating GE MRI equipment required.Experience with Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) preferred.Ability to perform IV contrast administration and magnetic contrast agent injections per protocol.Knowledge of MRI safety principles, pulse sequence selection, and troubleshooting MRI equipment during malfunctions.Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted.Apply now and you will be contacted by a recruiter who will provide more information.Assignment DetailsFacility Type: Hospital.Shift Name: Days.Schedule: 40-hour GTE. Friday and Monday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM.On-call/Call Requirement: 4 days per month.Daily Patient Volume: Approximately 35-40 MRI cases per day.Patient Population: All ages, including pediatric patients.Equipment: GE MRI systems.
