Damar is currently seeking an Intensive Autism Specialist to join our team. The Intensive Autism Specialist provides direct support and intervention for children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disabilities (ID), Developmental Disabilities (DD), or similar behavioral challenges. This role focuses on delivering intensive autism services, including natural environment training, skills-based treatment, behavior management, data collection, and caregiver education. The primary goal is to promote placement stability by reducing unsafe or disruptive behaviors and increasing prosocial skills through targeted interventions. The Intensive Autism Specialist empowers caregivers through training and coaching, ensuring they are equipped to manage challenging behaviors effectively.
