An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join a reputable healthcare setting on a contract basis. This position will allow you to put your expertise to work in a fast-paced environment, delivering top-quality respiratory care to patients with varied needs. Schedule/Hours: Night shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 pm - 7:00 am) 36 guaranteed hours per week Weekend shifts as needed Requirements: Current Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in the state of practice Valid certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP At least one year of experience in respiratory care, with clinical exposure to emergency and intensive care settings Ability and willingness to float as needed Proficient knowledge of pulmonary function, respiratory equipment, and pulmonary rehabilitation Experience with electronic medical record systems (Epic preferred) Basic nursery experience is highly valued Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate devices such as therapeutic gas administration apparatus and mechanical ventilators Provide emergency care, including artificial respiration and assistance with cardiopulmonary resuscitation Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts, ensuring all therapy information and identification is logged appropriately Adhere to established protocols, upholding the values and mission of the organization Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care Dress Code: Required scrub color: Black This role offers you the chance to work alongside dedicated professionals, broaden your clinical skills, and make a meaningful difference in patient outcomes.
