Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP) Location: North Chicago AreaProtouch Staffing is currently hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to work in Certified Integrated Living Arrangements (CILA) supporting adults and youths with intellectual disabilities in the North Chicago area. We have immediate openings for dedicated individuals who are passionate about providing compassionate care and support in a residential setting. Position Details Profession: Direct Support Professional (DSP)Shift: Days/ NightsSchedule: Days and Nights availableEmployment Type: Full-Time / Per Diem opportunities may be available Responsibilities Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and meal preparationProvide supportive care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilitiesMaintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment within the homeMonitor and record vital signs when requiredAssist with mobility and ensure the safety of residents at all timesTransport clients to appointments, community activities, or errands when requiredFollow care plans and tasks assigned by the House Manager, LPN, or RNProvide emotional support and encourage independence in daily activitiesAccurately document services and report any behavioral or health concerns Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Direct Support Professional with high behavioral individualsState Certified Direct Support Professional (DSP)High School Diploma or equivalentCurrent CPR (hands-on) and First Aid CertificationTB test within 1 year or QuantiFERON Gold testPhysical examination completed within the past yearStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work both day and night shifts If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply through the job board or contact 708-330-1199 for more information.
