MRI Technologist - Raleigh, NC (Sign-on Bonus $20K). Job Type : Full-Time. Shifts : 5x8, 4x10 or 3x12 hr shifts available Healthcare Setting : Imagining Centre. Summary: The Facility is located in Raleigh, NC. The facility is looking for candidates who can • Communicates with patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and to request important patient information (removal of metal objects, fear of closed spaces) that could limit or hinder the procedure. • Positions patients on the examining table and places appropriate coils to cover the area(s) of interest while following protocols set forth by the radiologist. • Enters correct patient data, anatomical area to be scanned, and patient orientation into the magnetic resonance imaging equipment on the computer while prescribing images with consistent positioning and angle. Qualification: • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field. • 1-2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist. • ARRT (MR) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. • Current BLS certification.
