we hold monthly county wide and site level provider education meetings which include morbidity and mortality case presentations and other specific topics of interest We attract and retain engaged staff by supporting providers in their pursuits of a meaningful role and offering opportunities in mentorship quality initiatives and preceptorships As a physician leader you will be surrounded by a collaborative and energetic care team that is invested in your success We offer robust perks including educational leave plus stipend license reimbursement H1 visa sponsorship FTCA malpractice coverage and flexible work schedules In addition we are a National Health Service Corps NHSC approved site for tax free loan repayment Our clinics are located in the thriving Bay Area known for its cultural diversity beautiful weather highly sought after schools and year round recreational activities Major Areas of Responsibility include but are not limited to Healthcare Delivery Provides direct medical care to patients from all age groups and a variety of backgrounds This includes but not limited to management of acute and chronic conditions preventive services pediatrics and prenatal servicesProvides inpatient and after hours care as required county and specialty specificDirects patient care operations and quality assurance related to professional medical and health care servicesServes on a consultative basis to assist the site manager health educator and other support staff in the performance of hisher responsibilitiesAct as a medical resource for all clinical and non clinical staff through consultation on the assessment management and treatment of complicated cases chart review co signing and case conferencesLead improvements efforts in clinic flow patient scheduling and service deliveryClinical Staff Supervision Coordinates with the Site Manager to perform administrative responsibilities which include recruitment orientation supervision of the clinical staff physicians mid levels and nursesConducts performance evaluations of professionalpersonnelDevelops and revises work procedures to expedite improved levels of delivery of services topatientsParticipates in recredentialing and privileging of clinicalstaffMentors and supports providers in their daily clinicalpracticeAdvocacy Represents La Clinica de La Raza and site to the medical community and specific institutions as requested and as necessary within guidelines provided by the agencyProvides perspective to Chief Medical Officer on anyall issues of concern to the site or agency This includes input on strategic planning clinical operations program development and grant managementOther duties assigned by supervisorKnowledge Knowledge and experience with Electronic Health Record programs such as NextGen or EpicKnowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries diseases and deformities This includes symptoms treatment alternatives drug properties and interactions and preventive health caremeasuresHigh degree of interpersonal competence with both staff and patients and thorough knowledge of evidence basedcareGood time management skills and evidence basedapproaches to medicalcareCultural competence working in diverselow incomecommunitiesAbilities Ability to deal courteously and effectively with a diverse patient population andmaintain good working relationships with professional colleagues and otherstaffAbility to work courteously and effectively as a team member to support the established quality and productivity standards established for the clinic;
