Job Summary Our client is seeking a skilled Physician to provide comprehensive medical care to adult patients. This includes examining, diagnosing, and treating various medical conditions while maintaining quality care and adhering to productivity standards. The role involves collaborating with other healthcare providers, managing patient records, and participating in continuing education and quality improvement activities. Key Responsibilities Render medical services expected of an internist or family practitioner, including managing the entire spectrum of general internal medicine and out-patient management of HIV disease. Maintain a patient caseload in line with quality of care and productivity standards. Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and staff regarding patient health needs. Complete necessary paperwork, including progress notes, medical records, and forms for reimbursement and regulatory agencies. Attend required medical staff meetings and conferences. Engage in continuing medical education to maintain professional competence. Teach and supervise paramedical personnel, ensuring understanding of diagnostic and therapeutic methods. Assist in peer review chart audits and other quality assurance activities. Report any problems or unusual occurrences to the supervisor immediately. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited Medical School. Completion of Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Osteopathic Medicine Residency Program. Board Certification/Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Practice. Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York with current registration. Skills Professional attitude and respect towards patients, delivering age-appropriate care. Effective cooperation and teamwork skills, contributing to improved outcomes and respecting feedback.
