East Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center - East Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing Services to join our team of professionals.Why work with us?Competitive PayHealth/Dental/VisionPaid vacationSick leaveHolidaysResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Risk management-A/I, PT Investigation, etc.Prepares annual calendar and master schedule of mandatory and other pertinent In-service programs. Submits copy to Administrator, Assistant Administrator, Director of Nursing and H.R. Coordinator.Schedules, conducts and arranges mandatory and other in-services for all staff.Prepares the monthly In-service calendars and distributes them to all departments.Keeps abreast of and recommends training resources to departments participating in Training programs.In conjunction with H.R. Coordinator and Department Heads conducts and/or arranges facility orientation for all new employees. Conducts orientation for Nursing Personnel.Managing clinical operations and developing care plans.Ensuring nursing staff follows departmental procedures and policies.Conducting patient rounds and addressing complaints.Scheduling staff meetings for patient updates, issues, and recommendations.Ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local standards. Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.Has a current New York State license as a Registered Professional NurseHas at least two to three years’ experience in a long-term care facility in Nursing Administration.Have previous experiences in-service education.Has knowledge of CDC guidelines as related to infection control, as well as O.S.H.A requirementsMaster's (Required)Supervising experience: 3 years (Required)RN (Required)BSN CERTIFICATION (Required)We are dedicated to promoting equal opportunity and cultivating a diverse and inclusive work environment.
