We seek to connect people to Jesus, equip them with knowledge and training and set them free to serve the world as God leads.Bilingual Spanish/ English candidates strongly considered.Position Summary: The vision of Shiloh's Kids Department is to provide for the physical, physiological, and spiritual needs of the children by having a safe, warm place for them to come to where they can be shown and taught the love of Jesus. The SK Program Lead position reports to the Shiloh Kids Director and supports all programs, events and administrative needs of the educational areas of the department and serves as the department safety coordinator. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, courteous, and responsive with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image. This ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills.The position is part-time.Job Responsibilities and Duties:Assist SK Director in implementing SK programs, events and activities. Support the SK Director to help recruit and add to the SK team.Recruit, train and communicate with volunteers, caregivers, teachers and staff.Serve as Safety Coordinator/Emergency lead, keeping bags stocked in each room, schedule yearly training for main leaders, posting emergency response instructions in each room.Ensure classrooms and support work areas are orderly, well-stocked and prepared for learning.Assist in providing teachers and other volunteers with communications, training and calendar support.Maintain, print and distribute all curriculum; including creating the playlister each month and scheduling the post on the SK Facebook page. Help plan, promote and implement SK events, such as family park days, special performances, SK Summer Camp and SK Leader and volunteer gatherings.Create Elementary Playlister each month and schedule post on SK FacebookAssist in managing all form creation, intake and tracking for the department.Maintain a teacher directory.Communicate weekly via powerpoint, organizing activities, and maintaining communication and support to all Elementary teacher volunteers for Sunday and Wednesday service.Support team building and smooth communications and partnerships amongst volunteers, caregivers and children.Administer and help staff any child care requests for Shiloh Staff and Leaders as needed.Support administration and payment processing for SK Dance Classes. Cross train in various other SK roles to ensure team members have back upsVarious other duties as assigned.Skills Required:Ability to multitask and prioritize workload with an eye for detail.Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.Show initiative and ability to work independently as well as in a team.Skilled user of Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Social Media.A high degree of responsibility, initiative and professionalism.Education and ExperienceHigh School diploma or GED.This position requires experience 1+ year in an administrative position. The successful individual must have a proven track record of effective judgment, and above reproach character. This position requires someone with a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a multi-ethnic, urban environment with an understanding of the dynamics of this culture.
