Work closely with referring physicians and specialists (e.g., oncologists, surgeons) to integrate interventional radiology into comprehensive patient care plans. Ensure that post-procedure orders are posted, and a warm handoff is made in case requiring post-procedure care. Provide consultation and instruction to referring physicians regarding appropriate indications for Interventional radiologic procedures. The Interventional Radiologist provides review of all requested exams. Interventional Radiologist - REQUIREMENTS A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school. Must have a board certification in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or equivalent. Shall possess a current, valid, unrestricted license in any State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States.
