A Pharmacy Manager position is available for a retail facility located in Altoona, PA. This direct hire role offers a 36-hour workweek with variable day and afternoon shifts, and an immediate start date. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with store operations teams to drive associate engagement and communicate company and department strategies. Ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions by conducting Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance in compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations. Manage the pharmacy department to operate profitably, promoting script growth through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Work closely with the District Manager and pharmacy staff to manage inventory, track weekly sales, and order pharmaceutical stock as needed. Align performance objectives to key department metrics to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Provide excellent customer service by assisting with medical-related inquiries and healthcare counseling. Supervise, train, coach, and manage pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff. Maintain pharmacy security and handle customer issues to build trust and loyalty. Interact with physicians and utilize reference materials to address prescription and customer concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy. Regularly review staff training and development to improve performance and reduce turnover. Prioritize department tasks to ensure timely completion, including cycle counts, inventory management, and will-calls. Qualifications: Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree. Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License. Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
