Seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to provide high-quality imaging services in a dynamic free-standing emergency department. This role is a contract position located in Gastonia, NC, supporting 24/7 ultrasound imaging along with X-ray and CT services in a new, state-of-the-art facility. Key Responsibilities: Perform general emergency department ultrasound imaging for a variety of patient cases. Assist with obtaining vital signs, EKGs, patient transport, and psych patient sitting as needed. Support teamwork by collaborating with radiology and other specialty staff. Manage patient flow including rooming and preparation. Provide ultrasound imaging coverage at multiple locations on night shifts. Qualifications & Desired Experience: Minimum 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience preferred. Certification through ARDMS or ARRT (S) required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Comfortable with general ED ultrasound imaging and willing to learn additional duties such as vitals, EKGs, and patient sitters. Experience working with EMR systems such as Epic, RIS Epic Radiant, and PACS platforms like Philips iSite.
