Qualifications: * High school diploma, GED, or this may be waived by the building principal * Strong work ethic. * Ability to work with students and staff on a daily basis. Reports To: Food Service Manager Job Goal: To serve the students attractive and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness and friendliness. Performance Responsibilities: * Assists in the preparation of food portions and prepares cafeteria counter. * Serves students and staff from the cafeteria counter when necessary. * Removes used dishes and assists in the cleaning of counters, tables and furnishings in the dining area. * Maintains the trash and garbage collection area in a neat and sanitary fashion. * Performs related duties as required including duties at special meal functions. * Authorizes the deductions of money from individual lunch accounts. Terms of Employment: Ten, eleven or twelve month year. Salary and work year to be established by the Board. Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Classified Personnel.
