This position works with the Director of Radiology to oversee the coordination of department activities, education, regulatory compliance, equipment quality control, maintenance, and performance improvement. Typical Duties: * Manages Radiology Quality Specialists including education, training, competency development, performance feedback, and termination. * Initiates, plans, directs and reports on department quality and performance improvement goals/plan. * Develops Radiation Safety Education materials and provides Radiation Safety education for entire hospital District. * Develops department operating budget. * Prioritizes, and allocates staff and resources to accomplish assigned objectives within approved budget parameters. * Demonstrates competence in applicable professional skills and participates in continuing professional education. * Develops, updates and implements policy and procedures. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Health/Business Management Administration from an accredited University. * Five plus years of Radiology, Sonography, and/or Nuclear Medicine technologist work experience. * Two plus year of work experience performing Radiology Quality Control Preferred Education and Experience: * Experience in Performance Improvement Projects * Direct experience with State, ACR and TJC Officials? * High Level Disinfection (HLD) experience.
