The successful applicant will serve as part of a multidisciplinary team with the opportunity to participate in the continued growth and development of the college of pharmacy and clinical practice site. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience. A non-tenure track, calendar year pharmacy practice faculty position is available in Internal Medicine. Responsibilities include didactic and experiential teaching, practice site development, scholarship and participation in the service missions of the college. The preferred candidate will have a Pharm.D. with advanced residency training or the equivalent, the ability to develop an innovative pharmacy practice and conduct collaborative research, evidence of teaching experience and be eligible for Illinois state licensure. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities All candidates should exhibit strong verbal and written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. In addition, a commitment to student-centered education and demonstrable promotion and enhancement of diversity is required. Preferred Qualifications Candidates with advanced residency (PGY2) are preferred. Experience in using modern teaching approaches that incorporate active learning is desirable.
