Sports Clinic Director & Physical Therapist Department: ClinicalJob Status: Full-timeFLSA Status: Salary, ExemptReports To: Regional DirectorPOSITION SUMMARY The primary responsibility of the Clinic Director is to ensure optimal clinic function through effective staff and patient management.We are currently seeking a Clinic Director to join our upcoming Vienna, VA location. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Lead and manage the day-to-day clinic operations, ensuring a high standard of patient care and satisfaction throughout the clinic to maintain and advance optimal clinic functionCollaborate with the management team to: develop and implement clinical policies and procedures; manage clinic budget, supplies and needsProduce a majority of external patient referrals and facilitate the introduction of other staff PTs for these patients' careLead and manage new Staff PT onboarding to effectively train, mentor and coach new staff PTs and ensure effective company and clinic onboardingConduct in-services over continuing education courses for clinic and/or companyOrganize and participate in community, schools, clubs, fitness facilities, etc., eventsHost a minimum of one clinical student and additional students as availableContinue to operate in the physical therapist capacity for own therapy clients; including but not limited to conducting assessments and developing treatment plans, implementing optimal therapeutic techniques with clients, and educating clients on self-management strategiesEnsure timely, accurate and up-to-date billing and documentation for patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes for self and all staffMaintain a clean and organized workspace and clinic throughout the day COMPETENCIES Communication-Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, clearly, and conciselyPatient Focus-Builds and maintains customer satisfaction with the products and services offered by the organizationResults Focus & Initiative-Focuses on results and desired outcomes and how best to achieve them. Responsibilities include onboarding employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems as they relate to these employees.RequirementsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy2+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist, with a strong background in sports rehabilitation.6-12 months of leadership experienceAbility to obtain a Virginia license or PT compact privilegesCurrent and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, or the ability to obtain one.One approved specialist or advanced certification COMPENSATION STRUCTURE: Starting CD Salary: $85,000CD + 1 Full Time PT: $87,500CD + 2 Full Time PTs: $90,000CD + 3 Full Time PTs: $91,000CD + 4 Full Time PTs: $92,000CD + 5 Full Time PTs: $93,000Eligible for bonus structure once CD + 2 Full Time PTsPHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical environment requires the employee to work in an office environment.The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
